The phone does not turn on, what should I do?

The phone stopped turning on, does not respond to the charger, after pressing the on / power button there is no reaction. What to do then?

- connect the charger, preferably an original one dedicated to a given phone model or a branded equivalent with the same parameters. After connecting the charger, leave the phone under the charger for a few hours. In the case of a "deeply" discharged battery, the charging process may start with a delay.

- in the case of phones where the battery can be removed, remove it, wait a few minutes and reinstall it in the device

- the phone does not have the ability to remove the battery. In this case, most phones have the ability to perform a "soft reset" using a combination of keys, depending on the model and brand, it is a different combination of power + vol + /- buttons or all together. It is best to check in the Internet search engine which combination of buttons in our model is correct, because a similar combination of buttons can be used to perform a "hard reset" that permanently deletes data

- the last thing to do on your own is the aforementioned "hard reset". Note this action will permanently delete all data. This process is usually also performed by the combination of power, vol +/- buttons. In the event of a warranty repair, the device will return to us without retaining the user's data, so before sending the phone to an Authorized Samsung Service, it is worth checking this option anyway.

In devices after contact with liquid, intervention time is important. First of all, the device must be turned off and not connected to the charger. The next step is to go to a professional service (not a "garage" repair point) to remove the liquid from the phone, dry it and remove any defects caused by the liquid. The probability of repair without the need to replace parts in this case is about 50%.

Theoretically, it won't hurt, but in most cases after such an action, even if the phone temporarily starts working, it will be short-lived.
